For nonexempt employees, the extra hours pay code must be applied to time worked beyond standard hours (with prior supervisor approval).

Supervisors are expected to review nonexempt timecards each pay period, monitoring for missing extra hours codes, incorrect PTO usage and other discrepancies.

When using half-day pay codes, exempt employees use “HLF Half Day” and nonexempt use “HFD Half Day Non-Ex”.
