Community Services & Integration

We help children and adults who have disabilities access the services they need to live in the community, including moving from restrictive to integrated settings, obtaining access to health care and disability services programs, and obtaining Assistive Technology. We also help clients get or keep the housing of their choice in the most integrated setting that meets their needs.

Much of this work focuses on helping clients access health and disability services under Medical Assistance and other public programs. We also work with people living in institutional or other congregate care settings on various issues, including access to proper care and disability-related treatment programs, addressing concerns over conditions in the facilities, and discharge planning. Our team helps protect clients from abuse and neglect through both individual representation and facility or program monitoring and investigations.
