Know your rights in Immigration Court
Keep your immigration court appointment, but know ICE is asking judges to stop proceedings so they can deport individuals right away. Know that you can exercise your right to ask the court to continue your court proceedings and say you do NOT agree to termination.

How do you know if ICE has a valid warrant to enter your home?
A warrant is only valid if it’s from the U.S. District Court, has your full name (or the name of someone currently living in the home), and is signed by a judge. Ask them to slide the document under the door so you can check it for yourself.

Registration requirement goes into effect
A lawsuit has not stopped the requirement for certain noncitizens to register with USCIS, April 11. We encourage anyone who thinks they need to register, to talk to an attorney, first. And, to visit the website of the National Immigration Law Center.

Assert your rights with red cards
Approached by an ICE agent? Let this red card speak for you. “I do not wish to speak with you, answer your questions or sign or hand you any documents based on my 5th Amendment rights under the United States constitution.”

Delegation of Parental Authority (DOPA)
