Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid is an Equal Opportunity Employer
MMLA is committed to inclusive hiring and dedicated to diversity in our work and staff. We strongly encourage candidates of all identities, experiences, and communities to apply. We welcome information about how your experience can contribute to serving our diverse client communities. Applicants are encouraged to share in their cover letter how they can further our goal of equal justice for all. We are committed to a discrimination- and harassment-free workplace.
Robust Health and Dental Insurance Plans
Choose between two health plans, with Legal Aid covering a significant portion of the premiums for employees and their dependents. Health Insurance coverage begins on your first day of employment. Legal Aid pays most of the cost of employee and dependent dental premiums.
403B Retirement Plan
Legal Aid offers you the ability to place pre-tax dollars into a 403(b) retirement account. Your contributions are vested immediately.
Flexible Leave Policies and Paid Vacation
We believe the best employees are happy and healthy. Generous paid vacation and sick time are just one way we invest in the overall health and well-being of our workforce.
The Bowen Scholarship
$25,000 grants to help cover law school expenses are available for MMLA non-attorney staff who are from traditionally underrepresented or disadvantaged communities and/or members of a recognized Native American tribe.
