Deputy Director

Jennifer Purrington is a deputy director at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, and the legal director of the Minnesota Disability Law Center. She has held both positions since 2022. Prior to joining MMLA, Jennifer was a staff attorney with the Minnesota Elder Justice Center and a supervising attorney at Disability Law Colorado, leading their Access Team focused on housing, employment discrimination, public accommodations and higher education. Jennifer graduated from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law in May 2012. Prior to her law school experience, Jennifer was a special education teacher and AmeriCorps member, teaching in California, Massachusetts and Minnesota.
