Be part of our movement

Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid is facing an unprecedented demand for legal services — and an unprecedented need for support.

The Fund for Legal Aid brings the legal community together to generate resources so that Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid can address the unmet legal needs of our community’s most vulnerable people.

Through participation in Fund initiatives such as the Law Day Dinner and One Hour of Sharing, you can support legal work that dramatically improves lives.

Walk with us toward a vision of “justice for all”. You can make it happen.
Give. Any time. Any amount.

In addition to making your gift online, you can also give by check, from your donor advised fund, or through a stock sale. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Barb O'Connell at

Law Day Dinner

Co-sponsored by The Fund for Legal Aid and the Hennepin County Bar Association, the annual Law Day Dinner raises funds and recognizes the lawyers and donors who make Legal Aid possible.

Whether you are a new or experienced attorney, or a student, Legal Aid has a multitude of opportunities where you can assist clients directly.

One Hour of Sharing

An hour that impacts a lifetime.

We invite attorneys to consider a donation of an amount equal to one or more billable hours (or the equivalent of an hour of your salary). When you give to our One Hour of Sharing campaign, we put your donation to work where it matters most: helping people gain access to justice to protect their rights. Through your generosity we help more than 10,000 families and individuals each year. Give as an associate, as an individual attorney, or as a law firm

The Fund is an excellent way to do good work by supporting good work.
