You can help

Without your help, Legal Aid wouldn’t be here. The generous support of volunteers, partners, and financial backers like you makes our work possible.

Federal and state support is not keeping pace with the rapidly growing need for legal services. Justice for all means safe housing, access to health care, and independent living for seniors and people with disabilities. It means abuse victims and tenants facing eviction have a lawyer to stand with them in court.

Walk with us toward a vision of “justice for all”. You can make it happen.
Give. Any time. Any amount.

In addition to making your gift online, you can also give by check, from your donor advised fund, or through a stock sale. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Barb O'Connell at

The Bowen Scholarship

Legal Aid’s Bowen Scholarship was initiated and led by two Legal Assistants in MMLA’s housing unit, Alisha Bowen and Luz Lopez Rosas to support employees from traditionally underrepresented communities who want to become attorneys. These $25,000 scholarships will help cover tuition, fees, and other school-related expenses for qualified employees entering law school. The scholarship endeavors to narrow the racial disparity gap and support diverse [LRL1] employees who want to further their legal careers. With generous donations from the community, MMLA’s employees will be able to take bold steps to achieve their professional goals.

Support MMLA’s diverse aspiring attorneys.
