The “Cold Weather Rule” is the law in Minnesota requiring landlords as well as utility companies to keep the heat on in winter even if you fall behind in payments. But it’s not automatic. Fox9’s Babs Santos interviewed Supervising Attorney, Evan Gelles of MId-Minnesota Legal Aid to find out how that law works.
