MMLA’s Danielle Hendrickson of the Immigration Law Project explains to KARE 11 news how some families’ renewed hopes for citizenship are on the brink of being dashed. The promise of a new pathway to legal status is central to the new federal program “Parole in Place.” However, a lawsuit and subsequent decision by a federal district judge in Texas, has put on hold approvals for the program.
