How We Help

How We Help

Abuse & Neglect

Eliminating abuse and neglect, especially in facilities. This may include physical abuse, neglect in health care settings or facilities, or improper use of seclusion or restraints.

Access & Discrimination

Ensuring access in the community and in housing, such as access to service animals/emotional support animals, transportation and public accommodations, voting and reasonable accommodations in housing and higher education.

Community Services & Integration

Helping clients get or keep the housing of their choice and get access to services in the community of their choice in the most integrated setting that meets their needs.

Education

Helping students get access to special education and related services in the least restrictive settings.

Employment

Helping clients get full services from Vocational Rehabilitation Services, State Services for the Blind, and Independent Living Centers. Helping people with disabilities remove barriers to employment, such as obtaining information about their right to reasonable accommodations.

Representative Payee Reviews

Completing onsite reviews of Representative Payees and Beneficiaries throughout Minnesota, working under the guidance of the Social Security Administration.
