Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid provides free lawyers and free representation to:

• Lowest-income residents of central Minnesota.
• Senior residents (60 and older) of central Minnesota.
• Minnesotans with disabilities.
• Minnesotans seeking taxpayer assistance.
• Minnesotans seeking affordable health care coverage.

We are dedicated to helping those who need us most by:

• Advocating for systemic change.
• Collaborating with community organizations.
• Meeting clients where they are.
• Addressing the detrimental impacts of racism.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

• We rely on donations.
• We rely on legislative funding.
• We do not accept Legal Services Corporation funding, allowing us to:
  • Take on class action lawsuits.
  • Represent our noncitizen neighbors.
  • Pursue legal and policy changes at the state legislature.
