Luke Grundman
Litigation Director
Luke Grundman joined Legal Aid in 2009 as an Equal Justice Works Fellow, fighting foreclosures and predatory lending. He subsequently staffed a medical-legal partnership clinic at Hennepin County Medical Center. From 2016-2021, Luke served as managing attorney of Legal Aid’s housing unit before ascending to his current position as litigation director in 2022. In 2017, Luke was awarded the Bernard P. Becker Award from the Minnesota State Bar Association. In 2020, he was honored with the Hennepin County Bar Association’s Excellence Award. In late 2023 and early 2024, Luke served as the interim executive director of Legal Aid, before returning to his post as Litigation Director. Luke is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota Law School.
