Communications Director

Lisa Ramirez joined Legal Aid in 2023, leading storytelling and media relations while overseeing development of the organization’s first Communications Unit. She comes to Legal Aid as a seasoned communications strategist in public education and nonprofit settings, backed by a career in broadcast journalism. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Journalism and Mass Communications; and earned her Leadership Essentials Certificate from the University of Minnesota College of Continuing and Professional Studies.
