Advancement Director

Heather Christopherson joined MMLA in June 2025 as the Director of Advancement. A Certified Fundraising Executive for over 20 years, she has more than 25 years of nonprofit and consulting experience, with a focus on fundraising, communications and volunteerism. Heather has a master’s in public administration with a specialization in nonprofit management and fundraising, and a BA in Sociology & Political Science, both from the University of Pittsburgh. She’s also an alumnus of the James P. Shannon Leadership Institute at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation.
