Know Your Rights

National Immigration Law Center website page headlined Know Your Rights: Trump Registration Requirement for Immigrants

Registration requirement goes into effect

A lawsuit has not stopped the requirement for certain noncitizens to register with USCIS, April 11.  We encourage anyone who thinks they need to register, to talk to an attorney, first. And, to visit the website of the National Immigration Law Center.

USCIS Registration Deadline

USCIS is requiring undocumented immigrants to register with them April 11. HOWEVER, a lawsuit may stop or pause this requirement. We advise you to wait until April 11 to register. Between now and then, the requirement may change.
