Melinda Hugdahl
Development Director
Melinda Hugdahl is the development director at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid and the director of The Fund for Legal Aid. She has held both positions since 2019. Melinda joined Legal Aid in 2006, serving as a staff attorney and lobbyist at the Legal Services Advocacy Project (LSAP). In 2012, she was awarded the National Association of Secretaries of State Medallion Award for her work in domestic violence and the Safe at Home Program. Prior to joining Legal Aid, Melinda was an attorney in state government, an attorney in private practice and a pro bono attorney. Melinda is a graduate of Luther College and William Mitchell College of Law (now Mitchell Hamline).
