Project Care, a program of Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, focuses on helping area residents obtain and maintain healthcare coverage with an emphasis on assisting those eligible for a public healthcare program and those who are from traditionally under-served communities. Outreach and education activities inform residents about the healthcare options available, identify those who might qualify for coverage, and overcome barriers that threaten enrollment. Skilled Navigators provide one-to-one assistance to ensure that residents are enrolled in the plans most appropriate for them and their families. Continuing assistance is available to help with renewals and complete other program requirements.
