Join us for cocktails with a cause on Thursday, August 2! 5:30 to 7:30, program at 6.
The Food Building, 1401 Marshall St. NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413

Legal Aid, in partnership with MinnPost and Far North Spirits, invite you to enjoy signature cocktails and farm to table appetizers as we examine the important topic of elder abuse.

"Elder Abuse: Vulnerable Adults At Risk" will feature Cheryl Hennen, State Ombudsman for Long-Term Care, Minnesota Board on Aging. Cheryl's office works to enhance the quality of life and services for long-term care consumers through advocacy, education and empowerment. Genevieve Gaboriault, Managing Attorney for Legal Aid's Senior Law Project, will provide brief remarks. The program includes a community Q & A related to the topic.

Thanks to our sponsors, admission includes appetizers from The Draft Horse and drinks, including a seasonal cocktail designed for the evening by Far North Spirits. This fun and informative event will be held at the Food Building, which is an experience in and of itself. We hope you'll attend, partake and discuss!

Admission $5. RSVP to or 612-746-3709.
